Bryce Kriegman is an itinerant resident of Portland, Oregon. Originally trained as a scientist and engineer, he has left the professional field behind him but considers everything he does in life to be an ongoing set of passion projects in Research & Development. He’s driven by the elemental, physical forces which underly us. These forces brew into an expanding cacophony, layers of which subterfuge and obscure the primordial. In his works he explores this subterfuge through the modes of the classical conflicts: man vs. nature, man vs. society, and man vs. himself.
His writings range from magical realism to thriller, to satirical commentary, and not infrequently is all of these at once.
His photography on the other hand is whatever he sees, really.
